Frank Calandra - Portrait

My name is Frank Calandra.

Welcome to my website, Calandra Graphics.com.

I am an Art Director/Graphic Designer/Artist.

Born in New York City, I was raised in New York, New Jersey, and Florida; New Jersey being first and last on the list. I attended post high school education in New York City while living across the river in New Jersey. After graduation I began my career at design studios and ad agencies in New York City. After marriage to my wife, Marie, and having 2 children, I focused on working in New Jersey to spend more time with the family and help raising the kids.

Professionally, I bring many years of experience, having worked in the corporate, consumer, and most recently, 13 years in the pharmaceutical advertising arenas. My experience includes ads, logos, packaging, flyers, POP materials, billboards, etc. as well as many varied aspects of the graphic arts industry.

I possess excellent organizational and management skills, including working within set budgets to execute and complete multiple working projects with overlapping time frames. I am also knowledgeable in printing processes, both conventional and digital. I have worked with external suppliers and services in addition to client interaction, internal department managerial duties such as studio management, and directing others through timely project conclusions.

I am a professional with a positive team player attitude and excellent work ethic, who is easy-going with a fun and unique sense of humor. I work well under pressure and have the ability to fit into any working environment.

Presently, I work in the New York/New Jersey area as well as Sebastian, Florida. I am available for freelance, short term, long term, or full time employment. I am looking forward to talking or meeting with you at your convenience. Please feel free to contact me either by phone or e-mail.

Sincerely,
Frank Calandra
